What a summer!

It’s been both a busy and utterly quiet summer for me here in New York. As the theatre world moves at a generally slower pace this time of year, there have been fewer auditions to pursue, but nonetheless it has been a great couple of months and I have some wonderful news to share!

In July I signed with the incredible Michael Rodriguez at The Roster agency. I am so, so thrilled to work with Michael and see how this new collaboration can help me push along through the fall audition season and hopefully book some great gigs! It is so exciting for me to know that I now have someone else fighting for me in the world and working to get my name out to casting directors and creative teams. Can’t wait to see what great things are coming for us now.

My other exciting news is that I’ll be joining the cast of Central Avenue Breakdown, a NYMF production that goes up in NYC in October. This jazz musical is beautiful and takes place in LA in the 1940s. I play Jane, a jazz singer who gets mixed up with a pair of rival musician brothers. The score is exciting and lovely and the show’s story is a deep and heartfelt one. I can’t wait to start digging into the material with the cast and director Christopher Windom when we begin rehearsals in mid-September.

The production goes up at the Signature Theatre’s Peter Norton Space on 42nd St October 10-15.
