Too many exciting things!

I know it’s been, as ever, FAR too long since an update on here. Finally, though, some very good and exciting news to report!

I’m typing this update backstage in my dressing room at School of Rock in the West End! I’ve taken over the role of Patty while the gorgeous Michelle Francis (who was in Mack and Mabel with me back in the day!) pops off to have a baby. I’m a couple weeks into performances now and absolutely loving it.

February was a total whirlwind—before I even found out I’d be starting at School of Rock I was planning a cabaret with my dear friend Chris Peluso, which we debuted at Crazy Coqs Live at Zédel on Sunday 10 February. We had so much fun and are so grateful for those who made it out to support us. Hopefully it will not be a one-time affair! Videos of the night can be found on my YouTube page as well as under the “Video” section on this website.

I also finished work last year on a brand new video game that I am so excited about. It’s called The Bradwell Conspiracy, and as soon as I know more about when the game will be released I’ll be posting here and on my social media pages. Recording it with director Kate Saxon, writers Georg Backer and Holly Pickering, and all the wonderful folks at Side UK was an absolute delight. It’s looking like I may have some other exciting voiceover opportunities in 2019, too, so I’m thrilled to keep working and learning in this new (to me!) discipline.

Overall, I just can’t believe how much everything has turned around for me over the past month or so. I’ve been living in London two years now, and it has not been an easy journey, but I’m finally a full-time working actor again. Thank you universe!

Xoxo
